This is the retelling of the parable of the great banquet in the book of Luke.

In the Parable of the Great Banquet, Jesus tells a story about a man who planned a big feast and invited many people. But when the time came, the guests made excuses and didn’t come. So the man invited others instead—people from the streets and countryside—so the banquet would be full. Jesus told this story to show that God invites everyone to be part of His kingdom, but we must be willing to accept the invitation.

What will kids learn from this story?

  • The good news is for everyone (Romans 1:16; Galatians 3:28).
  • The invitation to be a part of the kingdom of God is given to everyone (Matthew 11:28 – 29; Revelation 22:17).
  • Jesus wants us to tell everyone about the good news (Mark 16:15).

The bible reference for this story is Luke 14: 15 – 24.

We ask that you take the time to prayerfully read the bible references provided and study the materials too. We pray “that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him” (Ephesians 1:17)
