Remember that before you can share our Boom decks, you need to add our free Boom cards to your library. On our digital library/store, open a resource and click “add to cart”. The cards will show up in your library under the folder “purchased”. Keep adding to cart!

Now, you are ready to assign or share the resources with your students.

Note: If you have a free account on Boom, then, you will only be able to directly assign Boom decks to only five students in your account. But you can always use the “fast pin” or “hyperplay link” option to assign to more than five students.

Assign using Fast Pin

From your library, click on the “action” button on the deck you want to assign. A dropdown with options will appear. Choose “fast pin”, then, click on “generate pin”. A pin and a link will be generated. Copy the link and send to your students.

Note that the pin will expire in 14 days for a paid account and 5 days for a free account and you can always generate another pin after the expiry.

Using fast pin will enable you to distribute a simple link to your students, this does not require your students to log in. With fast pins, you cannot access student reports.

Assign using Hyperplay link

From your library, click on the “action” button on the deck you want to assign. A dropdown with options will appear. Choose “hyperplay link”. Using fast pin will enable you to distribute a simple link to your students, this requires your students to log in. Hyperplay links allow you to access student reports.

How can my children or students login to Boom Learning?

If the students have been given a “fast pin” to use a resource on Boom Learning, then, they can just copy and paste the fast pin link in a browser and start using Boom right away! No need to log in.

Or they can use this link  – https://wow.boomlearning.com/fastExplain,  then, paste the 4-digit number and start playing.

If they have been given a Hyperplay link, then, they need to log in to use Boom. Once they copy and paste the hyperplay link, they will be prompted to sign in to their account.

Students should click this link – https://wow.boomlearning.com/signin/student to log in to Boom Learning.

Once they are on the website, they need to choose their log in method. Then, enter their username and password. Note that the password needs to be created by the teacher or parent. You can also use a picture password to make it easier for the children to sign in.

Once they are signed in, they will see the decks that have been assigned to them and can start learning right away!

Ideas for how to use your Boom cards.

We hope that our Boom cards will assist in instilling faith in our young children as they learn about the bible, the people and events in the bible and God who love them so much! We hope they will also begin to grasp how relevant the bible is to our world today.

Below are some ideas for how you can use our free Boom cards.

  • You can use our Boom cards for group instruction – either at home or school. If you have access to an interactive whiteboard, you can use some of our Boom cards together in class. For example, our quiz cards can be answered by the whole class or the whole class can listen to the bible story readings together.
  • Also, you can start a Bible Club if you have access to several devices (iPads, tablets, laptops or computers). Assign Boom cards to the students and get them to work individually or engage them in a fun competition.
  • Additionally, you can use the Boom cards for individual instruction. As a parent, you can assign different Boom cards to your children based on their age groups and learning capability. While they work through the tasks, you can seize the opportunity to engage and interact with them. While children can learn independently, we encourage parents to connect and interact with the Boom cards and the children.
  •  Next, teachers and parents can use the Boom cards for revision, homework and practice after lessons. We encourage teachers and parents to create their own accounts first so they can assign Boom cards and monitor student reports.
  • If you are a school, you can include relevant Boom cards from our library in your religious education curriculum to enhance learning.
  • Finally, you can also use our Boom cards for virtual learning, for example, through Zoom.
