This is the retelling of the parable of the Sower in the book of Luke.
What does this story mean to young learners?
- Our heart is where the seed of the word of God gets sown or planted (Luke 8:11,15).
- God wants us to obey His word and not just read or listen to it (James 1:22).
- We build our faith in God and His word by constantly listening to His word (Romans 10:17)
- A hardened, uninterested, or distracted heart can be changed into a soft, obedient heart where the word of God can grow (Hosea 10:12)
The bible references for this story are Luke 8: 4-8, 11 – 15.
