This is the retelling of the parable of the talents in the book of Matthew.
What does this story mean to young learners?
- God has given each one of us gifts, talents and abilities (1 Peter 4:10).
- God wants us to use our gifts, talents and abilities to serve Him and to serve others (1 Peter 4:10).
- God gave us these gifts and abilities according to what we can do (Romans 12:6-8)
- God rewards those who use their gifts faithfully (Matthew 25:29)
The bible references for this story are Matthew 25: 14 – 30.
