How can I use the A-Z bible memory verse cards

These A-Z Bible Memory Verse Cards can be used in the following ways:

  • Memory verse. Simply memorize them one at a time. Teachers can give each to kids for a weekly assignment in church. They can memorize them during the week and return the cards the following week. And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart (Deuteronomy 6:6).
  • Shuffle, pick and discuss the themes. This can be done with friends and family or during church camps. Choose a moderate number of people (say from 2 – 8 people). Pick a theme, discuss, ask questions, share an insight or a testimony.

You can also use this method with older kids. Ask them to pick a card, read it out and explain what they think it means. Other kids in the group can then ask questions based on the theme. If they can’t answer, a teacher can guide them to arrive at the answers.

  • Use as day brighteners for your office or home. This is a great way to keep the word of God within your view or reach. Yes, you’ve got smart phones, but you can easily glance at the cards as you take quick breaks without checking the phone. You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates (Deuteronomy 6:9). This is especially useful if you need to meditate on selected themes for your current situation – perhaps a promise, a warning, an encouragement etc.
  • Print and send as a gift. You can send the memory verse cards to a professional printing company so they can print them like business cards, then you can send them as gifts to family and friends.

Additionally, you can give individual cards to anyone to help them through specific needs that you are aware of. For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart (Hebrews 4:12).

  • Finally, be creative. What else would you use this for?

How do I print the A-Z bible memory verse cards to make flashcards?

We have explained this as a “print-laminate-cut-and-bind-method”.

Get these items to help you create your cards:

  • Printing paper
  • Printer
  • Laminator
  • Scissors
  • Hole punch
  • Binder ring

After you have downloaded the memory verse cards, print out the pages, laminate them, and cut out the cards. Then, use a hole punch to create a hole at the edge of each card. Next, put a binder ring through each hole to attach them together. You will have a nice little booklet.

Alternatively, you can use card stock paper to print at home. Please check that your printer can print on card stock paper before doing this.
